How to export Chase transactions as a CSV

  1. Sign in to chase.comUse a desktop or laptop browser. The Chase mobile app cannot export CSV files — this is a web-only feature, so you will need a computer (or your phone's browser in desktop mode).
  2. Select the account you want to exportClick the account name on your dashboard — checking, savings, or a credit card. You export one account at a time; if you want several, repeat these steps for each.
  3. Find the download icon above your transactionsLook for a small download arrow (↓) near the top-right of the transaction list, usually beside a search or filter icon. On credit card accounts it may read "Download account activity."
  4. Choose your activity type and date rangeSelect "Activity" (not "Statements" — statements are PDFs and cannot be imported). Pick a date range; "Year to date" or a custom range both work.
  5. Select CSV as the file type and downloadChase may label it "Comma-separated values (.csv)" or "Spreadsheet (CSV)". Avoid QuickBooks (.qbo), Quicken (.qfx), and PDF — those are different formats. Click Download and the file saves to your Downloads folder.

What is the difference between "Activity" and "Statements" in Chase?
